Made in Iceland
From the pristine waters of the North Atlantic to certified production facilities powered by renewable energy.
The Icelandic Advantage
Iceland sits at the confluence of the North Atlantic's coldest, cleanest currents — waters that produce some of the finest marine resources on the planet. For centuries, Icelandic communities have built their livelihoods around sustainable fishing, developing world-class expertise in marine resource management and sustainability.
Nordwell draws on this heritage. Our collagen is derived from the skin of wild caught cod, sustainably fished in pristine Icelandic waters. Proximity to fishing grounds ensures steady access to the freshest raw material, and every batch is fully traceable from vessel to finished ingredient.
We are proud to take part in the 100% Fish Project. Iceland is in the unique position of utilizing more than 90% of every cod caught, compared to other nations where only 40 to 50% is utilized. By transforming cod skin into premium collagen peptides, we create value from Iceland's natural resources while minimizing environmental impact.

Nordwell is a proud contributor to The 100% Fish Project. In Iceland more than 90% of each cod is utilized while some other countries strive to utilize 40 to 50% of every cod. Icelandic fisheries only use environmentally friendly fishing gear – long line and/or Demersal otter trawl.
Production facilities powered by hydroelectric power and in proximity to fishing grounds.
The Nordwell facilities operate under the license the Icelandic Food and Veterinary Authority (MAST) and are HACCP, and BRCGS certified, meeting the highest global food safety standards.
